Amy Lang, President, Global Operations

As president of global operations for CDS, Amy Lang leads business strategy, operations and delivery of demonstration services in Costco warehouses across twelve countries.  With a clear directive to engage members and influence purchasing through brand advocacy, product discovery and retail excitement, CDS makes member moments that matter.

Amy joined Advantage Solutions to lead CDS in July 2022 after 16 years demonstrating business leadership and impact in roles at her previous company, Staples.  At Staples, she led retail and sales operations, talent management, transformation strategy, brand and marketing. Prior to her time at Staples, Amy worked at Bain & Co., American Express and investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Amy received her BA in Economics from Williams College and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She is part owner of a local restaurant & an expanding locally-sourced fried chicken market, and loves to sample the newest dishes.

Mark Egan, Senior Vice President, U.S. 

Joining CDS in 2016, Mark Egan leads the sales and operations functions in the United States. His primary areas of focus are on driving service consistency, quality engagement and incremental sales for Costco and the vendor community. Mark is applying his previous experience in executive leadership positions on both the manufacturer and agency sides to CDS.

Mark has served as SVP of Client Services for Advantage Solutions, where his team was responsible for $2.5 billion in product sales and retail merchandising responsibilities for several of the largest consumer manufacturing companies in the U.S. Before that, Mark held leadership positions with Georgia-Pacific Corp. and News Corp’s Fox Home Entertainment. At Georgia-Pacific, he served as VP Sales and Customer Relations for the $1.5 billion grocery channel. At Fox, Mark was SVP of Sales, responsible for nearly $2 billion in revenue with major retailers such as Costco, Walmart, Target and Amazon.

Kathleen Owen, Vice President, Sales

Kathleen Owen is the vice president of sales for Club Demonstration Services (CDS) and oversees all functions related to event scheduling for food products, non- food products, and special projects. Kathleen develops companywide strategies, enhances key relationships and drives innovation to help further grow the services offered to our valued partners. Kathleen and her team take great pride in collaborating with Costco and Suppliers to create events that influence purchase decisions and drive both member engagement and sales.

Kathleen joined CDS, then known as Warehouse Demos Services (WDS), in 2003 with management experience in the retail/food service industry. She began her tenure as a WDS demo supervisor and was quickly promoted to regional operations manager and then to senior regional operations manager in the Northwest United States before moving over to sales.

In 2018 and 2020, Kathleen was selected for Progressive Grocer’s 100 Top Women in Grocery Senior Executive. She also received the Peter Daymon Schwartz award in 2019 recognizing her contributions as a leader, innovator, team player and driver of business results.

Bryce Weber, Vice President, Operations

As Vice President, Operations, Bryce is responsible for driving field execution, managing the wage and labor strategy and is also the thought leader and executive sponsor of major projects like equipment roll outs, training and onboarding, measurement and incentive plans, and field communication.

Bryce joined the CDS team 12 years ago, and since that time has held roles as an Event Manager, District Manager, Director of Special Events and most recently as Operations Director for the West.

Bryce has had an impact in nearly every area of our CDS business, including supporting the acquisition transition from WDS to CDS, driving operational efficiencies and improvements, building trainings and partnering with Talent Acquisition on recruiting initiatives.
